In this download, you can find an integrated skills lesson about the topic of WEEKEND AND SEASONAL ACTIVITIES to help your GESE 4 students prepare for the Weekend and Seasonal Activities subject area and the GESE 4 exam. The lesson involves reading, writing and speaking about weekend activities.
How to use the GESE 4 Weekend and Seasonal Activities Lesson
The lesson starts with a brief discussion about what students usually do at the weekend, and their weekend activities. This discussion introduces the topic of the lesson and practises the types of questions students might be asked in the GESE 4 exam in the conversation phase.
The next part of the class is reading activity about different activities – there are three different reviews of different activities. The students have to read the texts and answer some different questions about them. This will help students with vocabulary related to different activities.
Once the students have finished reading the texts, they look at the organisation of a review, before writing a review of a weekend activity they have done recently.
