In this PDF file you can find a series of flashcards about classroom objects to use with your GESE 1 students. There’s also a worksheet on the last page so that students can have a record of what they have learnt :)
Flashcards are such a good resource and can used in so many different ways. Check out our blog post Ten Ways to use Flashcards for some ideas to get you started.
These flashcards have been made in quarter A4 size – you can print out on A4 paper, fold the paper in half so the word in on the back, cut the flashcard out and then they are ready to use. However, you can print them out in larger sizes as well – e.g.in Adobe, take a snapshot of the flashcard you want to print and then print it out in A4 size. You might also find it useful to print out smaller versions of the cards to use for matching games (e.g. match the name with the picture memory game) and it’s always a good idea to laminate so you can use the cards again and again :)
