In this FREE DOWNLOAD you can find a selection of useful language for students to use when they are writing formal letters. This can be used with all your ISE students, from ISE I to ISE IV :) (ISE Foundation students don’t have to write formal letters)
Students often find it difficult to express why they are writing or to use set phrases for particular functions. In this handout, students can pick and choose the language they need and adapt it to the purpose of the formal letter writing task. Hopefully, this will help them to express themselves better in their writing and enable them to write coherent informal letters in their ISE exam!
